The roots of our Glow...
The greater Philadelphia-based outfit, The NiteGlow, crafts a blend of modern indie and dream-psych rock. At the forefront are atmospheric textures, vivid imagery and powerful reverbed guitars. The NiteGlow is led by Bruce Carter, guitarist and songwriter, with guest features by Dara Bradley (The Bradley Sisters), Robbie Malone (David Gray) and John O' Reilly Jr. (EI Vy)
The NiteGlow's upcoming single, "The Rest of Me," is set for release on May 25th, 2026. and features Dara Bradley, a Cork based singer-songwriter. The single is an upbeat rocker, transposed against a tidal wave of longing and unsustainable loss. The song further defines the band's focus on reflective lyricism with layered, dynamic instrumentation. The NiteGlow is a staple play on Perthshire's Heartland FM (97.5/107.3), with their singles "Stay July" and "NiteGlow" being featured frequently on the "Saturday Night In" program. The NiteGlow was also featured in a live in-depth interview segment with Host Dave MacThomais.
Before The NiteGlow, Carter was the driving force behind GSlide, an Ireland-US based collaboration. GSlide released 3 full length albums from 2010 to 2017 and performed throughout Cork County, Ireland. Earlier in his career, Carter fronted Crave, a psychedelic rock outfit based in Philadelphia and New York 1996 to 2005.
Crave released two full-length albums and an EP, earning critical recognition for their energetic live performances. The band was awarded "Best Live Band" by Philadelphia's "City Paper" and notably performed at Pride Fest at Penn's Landing
